Runaway Sheep Rescued After Roaming Local Roads |
Tarentum, PA – In an unexpected turn of events, a runaway sheep became the center of a rescue mission this weekend after it was spotted wandering around Lower Burrell and Route 28. Thanks to the combined efforts of local fire departments, police, public works and vigilant community members, the adventurous animal was safely returned home after several hours on the loose. As they say, everything is baa-ck to normal! Storm the sheep, which had escaped its pen, was seen near major roadways, raising concerns for its safety and that of passing drivers. Local police, public works and firefighters swiftly coordinated a rescue effort, guiding the wooly wanderer back to safety before any harm could occur to it or anyone else.
