- Motion to approve the request from the Tarentum Area Lion’s Club to hold the Book Walk in Tarentum Park on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
- Motion to approve the request from the Tarentum Borough Recreation Board to hold the Trash to Treasure Flea Market Event in the Tarentum Station parking lot(s) on Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Motion to approve the purchase of a snowplow and salt spreader from Walsh Equipment for the 2016 Ford F550 in an amount not to exceed $13,026.00.

Motion by Mr. Dadowski, second by Ms. Fox to accept the minutes of the September 6, 2018 meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
Ms. Cindy Homburg, 538 E 10th Avenue, informed council about the success of September library week events at the Community Library of Allegheny Valley. Informed council of the upcoming Annual Ghost Tour at Prospect Cemetery.
Mr. Joshua Fox, Summit Hose Fire Chief, thanked council, manager, Police department, and public works for their support, assistance and attendance at the Fall Festival.
Ms. Lorri Wildi, 448 E. 7th Avenue, inquired about an update on the code enforcement officer position and hiring status.
Ms. Heather Erb, 2222 Riddle Run Road, questioned Borough officials about Section 8 housing within the Borough.

Ms. Fox presented several items prior to adjournment. She wanted to congratulate CLAV on their successful library month events; congratulated and thanked Denise Kissell on her volunteer diabetes seminar held in the park; Thanked Rich Fitzgerald and his County Staff for visiting and touring the Borough in late September; Indicated that the Fall Festival was a very successful event and thanked Summit Hose for organizing the event; thanked Borough for Carl Magnetta ampitheatre dedication event.
Mr. Jim Bowser, 314 West 8th Avenue, expressed that paving projects, gas line projects and water distribution system projects should be coordinated so that the Borough is not paving streets and then digging back in to them shortly thereafter.
Motion by Mr. Cornuet, second by Ms. Homa to adjourn the meeting at 6:58 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
