Tarentum Borough Council Vacancy: Seeking Appointment Applicants
Tarentum Borough is announcing an opportunity for community members to participate actively in local governance. We are seeking applications for a vacant at-large council position open to all eligible residents.
Position: Council Member
Eligibility:
- Must be a resident of Tarentum Borough for at least a year prior to appointment.
- Aged 18 or above
- Committed to community service and local governance
Responsibilities:
- Attend council meetings
- Participate in policy-making, budget discussions, and community development plans.
- Engage with residents to understand and represent their interests.
Term: The appointed council member will serve until the next municipal election.
Application Process:
Submit a resume and cover letter detailing your interest and qualifications.
Attend an interview with the selection committee if shortlisted.
