Congratulations to the three winners of our first residential holiday light contest. Thank you to all that participated. There were a lot of nice homes, good creativity and great decorations. It was very difficult to select the top three.

Tarentum Business Decoration Contest

The Tarentum Recreation Board hosted a business light and decoration contest. Below are pictures of the winning displays. Thank you to all who have participated.

Contest Information

RULES:

Free registration
Register by December 18, 2018
Open to all residential homes in Tarentum Borough
Borough officials and employees are ineligible for the contest
Exterior decorations plus those visible from street view will be judged (i.e. lighted tree in window)
Judging will occur on Wednesday, December 19, 2018. Please have lights on by 5:00 p.m.
Winners will be posted here and on the Tarentum Facebook page

NOTICE:

Judging will be subjective based upon overall curb appeal including any of the following:
Unique design, creativity, lighting effects, themes, decorations, objects, props used, etc.

Consent to photograph. By registering for the contest, you authorize Tarentum Borough to photograph your home light display and utilize photos for promotional purposes.

PRIZES:

1st Place – $100 Borough Electric Bill Credit
2nd Place – $50 Borough Electric Bill Credit
3rd Place – $25 Borough Electric Bill Credit
