Tarentum Borough, Allegheny County, PA is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of a Full Time Code Enforcement and Zoning Officer. Salary range of $33,500 to $61,000 is partly dependent on experience and current certification(s). This position reports directly to the Borough Manager. Minimum of two (2) years municipal experience in Zoning & Code Enforcement is recommended. One year of construction or law enforcement experience desirable. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. The successful applicant ensures compliance with Borough Ordinances and related areas including building construction, subdivision, and land development; performs plan review for the Zoning Ordinance and Zoning Hearing Board; identifies property and code violations; investigates, analyzes, and resolves issues; reviews site plans; has strong computer, technology, communication, organizational, and people skills; and performs related duties as assigned.
