The Tarentum Recreation Board was established in 1960 by the Tarentum Council, Ordinance 2708. Since it's inception, the Board, working hand in hand with the local government, has been instrumental in providing many wonderful recreational faclities for the residents of the borough.
The Recreation Board acts as an advisory board, however, it's purpose is to provide the best possible recreation and park services for our residents. This also includes functions such as parades, senior programs, children's programs, activities and facilities for the older children, and fundraisers for special events.
Members of the Recreation Baord are:
Carrie Fox - President
Rebecca May - Vice President
Barb Magnetta - Secretary
