REMINDER: Hydrant flushing will occur for the next two weeks. Beginning this week, October 19-22, flushing will take place on the east side of Tarentum. The tentative plan is to flush the following areas:
Mon. 10/19 – E 1st through E 3rd
Tue. 10/20 – E 4th through E 7th
Wed. 10/21 – E 8th through E 10th
Wed. 10/21 or Thu. 10/22 – E 11th and surrounding areas
The following week, Oct 26, flushing will occur on the west side starting on Monday 10/26 in the area of W. 6th Avenue.
When flushing is occurring in your area, customers may experience low pressure or temporary water discoloration. Briefly run your cold water to clear the line.
If your hot water tank should fill with any discolored water, please run hot water to clear the tank.
